One of my favorite things about the Dukan Diet from the start was being able to eat steak and being able to eat as much as I liked. On other diets I had tried red meat was usually very limited. This is one of my favorite steak recipes for a simple marinated and grilled flank steak infused with fresh herbs, mustard, and soy sauce. Works great hit or cold and is delicious for fajitas or a steak salad.

1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 cloves garlic
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 tablespoons chopped chives
1 medium shallot, minced (about 2 tablespoons)
1 whole flank steak, about 2 pounds
1. Combine al of the ingredients except the steak in a bowl. Place half of the marinade and the steak in a ziploc bag and marinate over night, at least 12 hours. Reserve the remaining marinade for dipping sauce.
2. Preheat the grill to medium high heat and dry the meat with paper towels to prevent the marinade from burning.
3. Grill for five minutes on each side for medium rare and let rest for ten minutes before serving. If you want the steak more well done allow it to cook for longer.
Salsa: Serve with your favorite salsa if eating veggies and protein. It is delicious with a salsa do red peppers, red onion, yellow squash, cilantro, and lime juice.
